Group CEO of GraceKennedy Limited, Frank James, announced several new awards and incentives for student athletes who compete at the ISSA/Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships.
The awards were announced in honour of retired Group CEO Don Wehby at Wednesday’s launch of the five-day championships at the National Stadium.
The Don Wehby Sportsman Award was the main Initiative announced.

James also announced, the Don Wehby Scholarship, valued at $500,000. This will be awarded to a student who demonstrates strong academic performance while actively participating in sports.
Meanwhile, any school whose athlete breaks a record in sprint events at Champs 2025 will receive a cash prize of $103,000.
This initiative is in celebration of GraceKennedy’s 103rd anniversary.
