Dancehall artistes Dovey Magnum and Cartadon have combined their vocals on a steamy collaborative effort entitled “Motion”. The track, which is produced by USA-based record label Boston Boys Records, is set to be released in a matter of days along with the accompanying music video and based on what several musical insiders are saying, it is a banger in the making. According to Cartadon, he is very optimistic about the song becoming a major hit.
“It is definitely something to look forward to. The song hot like di summer and the video ago raise eyebrows, trust me. The vibe was right, and everything flowed very well yuh zimmie. Me nah let di cat out di bag cause me want di fans to enjoy di ting directly when it drop,” Cartadon stated.
Dovey Magnum, who has been trending on social media of late due to her new image, is said to have delivered some sensual and melodic bars while Cartadon maintained a gritty yet charming persona. According to Mike Haley of Boston Boys Records, the collaboration was crafted based on the feel he was going for.

“I like to think out of the box; as such, I wanted to create a record that brings back woman and man interaction as opposed to the chopping and badness songs that are flooding the street at present. This song has a feel-good vibe; it is catchy, and it’s the kind of street love story that works well in dancehall. I think the industry needs more content like this, and with that being said, I am confident that this song will dominate dancehall. Stated Mike Haley of Boston Boys Records.
Cartadon, who recently inked a management deal with the USA-based Boston Boys Records, also filmed a cluster of music videos slated for release over the next few weeks, starting with his collaboration with Dovey Magnum, “Motion”.
