Elections Department Opens Annual Voters List Objection Period

The Elections and Boundaries Department has issued notices to registered electors across the country concerning names on the voters’ list.  Under the Representation of the People Registration Rules, an elector may object to the continued inclusion of another person’s name on the register for their electoral division.  The notice applies to names entered on the register before September 30, 2026.  Anyone wishing to make an objection must complete Form 14A and submit it to the registering officer for the relevant electoral division before November 1.  The notices cover all electoral divisions and include the addresses of the registration offices where objections are to be filed. Electors should contact the Elections and Boundaries Department or their nearest registration office for further information.
