Elite clash: All-Manning oppose All-daCosta

Some of the island’s top high school footballers will be on show this afternoon when the All-Manning Cup team tackles the All-daCosta aggregation in what is expected to be a thrilling contest at St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS). Match time is 3:30 p.m.

In the opening match of the doubleheader, a daCosta Cup Scholastic team will oppose a Manning Cup Scholastic side at 1:30 p.m.

The game between the All-Manning Cup and All-daCosta teams is expected to produce fireworks, as both sets of players go head-to-head in front of a number of overseas college scouts as well as professional coaches who will be in attendance.

The All-Manning Cup team includes six players from Excelsior High who have won both the Manning Cup and Olivier Shield this season. They are Shamarie Chambers, Jamari Gordon, Damarley Williams, Terrence Williams, Kivann Salmon, and Kimarley Scott.

The team also includes five members of the Jamaica College Manning Cup team, who were beaten 2-0 by Excelsior in the 2025 Manning Cup final. They are Donald Stewart, Dujoni Thompson, Dontae Logan, Jabari Howell, and Jamone Lyle.

St Andrew Technical High will be represented by Jaheime Gray, Keeno Levy, and Stephen-Jon Beckford, while Eltham High have two players on the team in Santana Headley and Steven Bull.

The other members of the All-Manning squad are Kevaun Campbell (Calabar), Kadean Young (St Catherine), Deshawn Byfield (Kingston College), Sean Leighton (Mona), Ricardo Walker (Vauxhall), and Ryan-Oniel Francis (Tivoli Gardens). The coaches for the All-Manning Cup team are Excelsior’s Keon Broderick and Raymond Watson of Jamaica College.

The All-daCosta team is also filled with talent and will include six members of the STETHS team that won the 2025 competition. They are Jonoi Steadman, Dantay Hewitt, Malachi McMaster, Deandre Barnett, Jade Lynch, and Kaieem Lewis.

Glenmuir, who lost to STETHS in the daCosta Cup final, will be well represented with five players: Conroy Nicely, O’Neil Headley, Dunstin Cohen, Orane Watson, and Orel Miller. Cornwall College will be represented by three players, Carlyle Tinglin, Mekhi Foster, and Carlondo Morris.

Dinthill Technical also has three players on the team: Orane Gayle, Omaine Morrison, and Omarion Small. The other members of the team are Anthony Reid and Justin Hayles, both of Clarendon College; Kemps Hill’s pair of Robert Crawford and Shemar Daley; Terron Eccleston of Cedric Titus; and Jevohntae Gordon of Manchester High.

The coaches for the daCosta team are Omar Wedderburn of STETHS and Kemps Hill’s Keigon Mitchell.
