Energy Ministers meet Indian High Commissioner

Minister of Energy and Energy Industries Dr. Roodal Moonilal and Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, Ernesto Kesar met with High Commissioner of India Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit on Monday.

The meeting took place at the Ministry’s Head Office in Port of Spain.

Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Trinidad and Tobago and India, with emphasis on cooperation in the energy sector.

Key topics included collaboration through the Global Biofuels Alliance and the International Solar Alliance.

Both Energy Ministers and the High Commissioner shared a commitment to advancing joint initiatives in these areas.

The meeting ended with expressions of interest in continued engagement, aimed at supporting development goals and reinforcing ties between Trinidad and Tobago and India through energy-based partnerships.
