A 24-year-old man from Happy Valley Road, Erin, has been sentenced to prison for a series of robbery, shooting, larceny, and kidnapping incidents committed in May and June 2025.
Ceejay Lewis appeared before Master Bethelemy at the San Fernando Master’s Court on Friday, where he elected summary trial and pleaded guilty to all charges.
Lewis was charged in four separate matters:
May 17th, 2025 – Robbery with violence and shooting with intent, jointly charged with an 18-year-old man from La Romain. Both were denied bail and are due for a sufficiency hearing on April 6th, 2026.
June 6th, 2025 – Robbery with aggravation. Lewis was sentenced to four years six months hard labour.
June 11th, 2025 – Robbery with violence, kidnapping, and larceny motor vehicle. He was sentenced to five years for robbery with violence, five years for larceny motor vehicle, and 14 months for kidnapping, all to run concurrently from August 3rd, 2025.
June 11th, 2025 – Robbery with aggravation, jointly charged with the same 18-year-old man. Lewis received four years hard labour. The other accused pleaded not guilty, was granted $350,000 bail, and will reappear in court on September 4th, 2025.
