Excelsior hunt 10th straight ISSA Schoolgirls’ football title

Excelsior High’s coach Xavier Gilbert can achieve a major milestone today when they take on Camperdown High in the final of the ISSA Schoolgirls’ football competition at Wolmer’s Girls field at 3:30 p.m. Gilbert is seeking a 10th straight tile as head coach of the team. In Tuesday’s semi-finals, Excelsior booked their spot in the final with a comfortable 2-0 win over Merl Grove High, while in the other semi-final at the Eltham High, Camperdown cruised to a 4-0 win over Garvey Maceo High.
