Ahead of the 66th running of the Jamaica St Ledger at Caymanas Park on Sunday, July 6, Solomon Sharpe, chairman of the Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited, revealed that the excitement is almost fever-pitch among the horse racing community.

Sharpe while speaking with Nationwide Sports shared that there should be a lot of surprises among the thoroughbreds on the day.

The 2025 running of the saint ledger, which is the second jewel in the local triple crown, will be contested among fourteen of the best thoroughbreds over ten furlongs.

It will see the likes of the one-thousand-guineas winner BURNING HEDGE and the two-thousand-guineas winner Sensational Soul.

According to Sharpe, the quality of local horses and jockeys augurs well for the future of local racing at the historic Caymanas Park.
