The family of 26-year-old Giovanny Diego is pleading with the public for assistance as he fights for his life following a traffic incident on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway. Diego, a resident of Independence Village, sustained a severe head injury after a collision involving two motorcycles and a blue Chrysler sedan around between miles 42 and 43 on Saturday night. When Bella Vista Police arrived on the scene, they found all three vehicles in the bushes off the left side of the road. Diego was found to be unresponsive. He was first transported to the Independence Polyclinic, then transferred to the Southern Regional Hospital, and later to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Love News spoke with his family members who explained the condition he is currently in.

Roma Montes, Family Member: “So far he’s still in the coma right now, he has not woken up for nothing and they’re trying to safe his hand and his foot because the doctor doesn’t want to cut it off. And so far he has a little bleeding in his head, that one keeps bleeding. One of his feet is fractured badly and his left hand the same thing.”
