AP: UEFA, CONCACAF and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have accused FIFA President Gianni Infantino of committing a “fundamental breach of trust” through his recent plan to sell an interest in the World Cup. In an “open letter to the football family” released yesterday, the three confederations said that “when trust is broken through deception, when an individual places himself above the collective that entrusted him with authority, that duty has been abandoned”.
