Chairman of the JLP’s Communications Task Force, Abka Fitz-Henley is condemning what he says is the dictatorial posture adopted by the PNP in its dealings with certain members of the media.
Fitz-Henley was speaking during a JLP media conference on Thursday.
He was asked by Television Jamaica’s Dwayne Anderson about recent public statements from the PNP that it had objected to the participation of journalists from Nationwide News Network in the upcoming political debate.
Senator Fitz-Henley is a former Press Association of Jamaica Journalist of the Year and won several other awards in his time working in the media.
He says the PNP’s attitude to media in Opposition is a clear indicator of what the party is capable of should they form the next government.
