Five Men Arrested After Armed Robbery Near BelChina Bridge

Police in Belize City have arrested five men in connection with an armed robbery that occurred early this morning. Just before 1:00 am, five men in a Chevy Equinox robbed 23-year-old Aaron white, who told police that he was walking towards BelChina Bridge when the assailants exited the vehicle, with a gun, forcing him to give up his belongings. According to reports, a speedy response from the police led them to Lindo’s Alley, where they located the Chevy Equinox with the five Belize City residents inside. During a search of the intercepted vehicle, the officer retrieved white’s cellphone. All five suspects were escorted to the police station, where they remain in custody pending further legal action.
