With just days remaining before its debut staging, Essence is set to take place on Sunday, March 8 at Jericho Place, 216-08 Jamaica Avenue in Queens, New York. The upscale daytime event is being promoted as a Jamaican-led social affair on the city’s spring calendar.

Presented under the Flippmoney Records banner, the party will run from 4pm to 10pm. It represents the first major event of 2026 for promoter/Dancehaller Flippa Moggela and his first venture into the New York market, following a series of events previously held in Philadelphia.

On Tuesday, Flippa whose real name is Andrew Davis shared a video of Demarco endorsing the event while holding the official flyer. As caption for his post, Flippa wrote, “It’s a movie star settings get you tickets!!!!”

The musical line-up features selectors Nowa Powa, DJ Polish, Shukkle Bus and ZJ Liquid, alongside Taj and Chad Boogie and Biggs Ravas. Patrons can expect a mix of Dancehall and Reggae suited to a daytime setting.

Tickets have been released in tiers, beginning with early-bird sales at US$50 before increasing to US$60 in January. Between February 1 and February 28, tickets have been priced at US$70, with organisers indicating that entry at the gate will attract a higher rate.
