Former assistant coach of the Sunshine Girls, Winston Nevers, believes the current trio of Shanice Beckford, Kadian Duhaney and Jhaneile Fowler-Nembhard are in the conversation of best players in the world at their various positions.
Nevers’ comments comes as the players who are representing the West Coast Fever book their spot in Sunday’s final of the Australian Suncorp League.
The veteran coach suggested that based on what he’s seen, Jamaica’s next crop of players are keeping a keen eye on what the senior players are doing, especially, during their stint in the Suncorp League which is widely regarded as the best in the world.
