The Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club, JMMC, has enrolled four Jamaicans in the FIA’s inaugural Regional Training Programme for Stewards.
The purpose of the FIA’s new programme is to support the growth and development of officials at a national level, whilst preparing them for international competition.
Rosie Jadusingh, Chadia Washington, Nicholas Donald and Chris Elliott are the four that have been enroled.
The training is delivered exclusively online.
This is in order to provide greater access to training via a consistent spread of webinars while allowing opportunity for topical content that is adaptable to the changing needs of the sport throughout the year.
The course began on June 25 and will conclude on October 29 after which each trainee will sit an exam for possible certification by the FIA.
