Froylan Gilharry Elected President of Belize Bus Association

The Belize Bus Association has elected a new executive, with Froylan Gilharry taking over as president. The election was held at the association’s annual general meeting on Sunday. Adelric Tillett was elected vice president, Oscar Pollard secretary and Juliet Dawson assistant secretary. Evangelina Waight is the new treasurer. Claude Fraizer will serve as advisor, and Roxana Chan as councillor.  In a release today, the association thanked its outgoing executive and said the new team will focus on representing bus operators and improving public transportation. It also says it plans to keep working with the government, industry stakeholders and commuters on the challenges facing the sector.
