Garvey Maceo, Denbigh share the spoils

Denbigh High School and 2024 champions Garvey Maceo played to a 1-1 draw in their daCosta Cup Group Three Clarendon derby at Denbigh yesterday. Both teams created chances to secure all three points in a keenly contested encounter, but neither side could find the winner. Denbigh took the lead in the 19th minute when Markland Williams used his pace to outrun two defenders before calmly slotting the ball past the Garvey Maceo goalkeeper. The hosts carried their 1-0 advantage into the half-time break.
