Dancehall Queen Spice has added another historic milestone to her résumé as her smash hit “Go Down Deh,” featuring Shaggy and Sean Paul, has officially been certified Silver in the United Kingdom — recognizing over 200,000 units sold as measured by The Official Charts Company.

Originally released in April 30, 2021 as the second single from Spice’s Grammy-nominated debut album 10, the track is produced by Costi Ionita and executive-produced by Shaggy.

The Jay Will-directed music video — filled with raw Kingston energy and signature Caribbean choreography — has now surged past 340 million views on YouTube, Spice most streamed song on the platform.

Shaggy previously reflected on the song’s impact, noting its role in expanding Spice’s global audience:

“’Go Down Deh’ really resonated with her core fans but also opened the door to actually receiving new fans… The song doing well in Russia and Italy, now South America is dragging on to it.”

The track also helped power 10 to debut at No. 6 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, while introducing a new wave of listeners to Spice’s catalogue.

For dancehall, the Silver certification marks another proud moment in the genre’s global evolution. For Spice, it is validation of years of groundbreaking work and resilience at the top of the industry — while Sean Paul and Shaggy continue to demonstrate why they remain two of Jamaica’s most enduring exports.

Spice promoted “Go Down Deh” with a series of major live TV performances alongside Shaggy and Sean Paul, including appearances on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on June 11, 2021, Jimmy Kimmel Live! on June 15, and The Wendy Williams Show on June 18.
