Golding Vows to Subsidise Transport For Students Who Don’t Benefit From JUTC

Opposition Leader, Mark Golding, is promising to subsidise transport for students who do not benefit from the state owned bus company Jamaica Urban Transit Company, JUTC, in rural communities.

This was among the initiatives he’s promising a future PNP government will implement to fix Jamaica’s educational issues.

The Opposition Leader promised more details on the programme at a later date.

He also pledged to entrench civics as a core subject in the national curriculum to combat the moral and ethical decay in Jamaica.

Mr. Golding says the PNP will also do more to assist borrowers of the Students Loan Bureau, SLB.
