Government Breaks Ground for New Indian Church School Building

The Government of Belize has officially broken ground for the construction of a new school building in the Orange Walk village of Indian Church. The project, being implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology in partnership with the Caribbean Development Bank, will replace the community’s aging school infrastructure with a modern facility designed to better meet the needs of current and future students.  According to government officials, the new building will provide a safer and more resilient learning environment while supporting efforts to improve educational outcomes for children in the rural community. They say the project reflects the continued focus on strengthening education infrastructure and ensuring that students across Belize have access to quality learning facilities regardless of where they live.
