Government launches new online portal for public service jobs

The Government of Belize has launched a new online portal for advertising and applying for vacancies within the public service.  The Ministry of Public Service, Disaster Risk Management and Enterprise says all government job advertisements and applications have transitioned to the new platform, which is powered by the NeoPeople Human Resources System. Through the portal, users can view current vacancies, submit applications online and receive updates on the status of their applications. The ministry says the system is intended to provide a more secure, reliable and user-friendly recruitment process.  The previous job-application website is no longer in use. Persons seeking employment in the public service can access the new portal by visiting publicservice.gov.bz and selecting the “Job Portal” option on the homepage.  The ministry says all new government vacancies and applications will now be processed through the NeoPeople recruitment platform.
