With the Briceno Administration still transitioning into its second consecutive term in government, there are still a few pending housekeeping matters. One of those is the appointments or reappointments of the country’s ambassadors. According to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francis Fonseca, the current diplomatic listing is being reviewed with changes in the making.

Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Culture & Immigration: “Yeah we’ve just finagled that. Obviously we were waiting to get through the budget process and everything. So we’re just at the point of finalizing that so we expect all of that to be completed by the end of July. By the end of July we’ll have that process completed where we have the new ambassadors in place by the end of July.”
Minister Fonseca explained that the process had been delayed due to other pressing matters including the preparation of the national budget.
