Title sponsor GraceKennedy is once again putting the spotlight on athletes’ care with its Grace Wellness Hub at the annual ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
Located at the Athletes’ Village at Stadium East, the Grace Wellness Hub continues to be a game-changer for Champs, offering athletes a dedicated space to refuel, recharge, and reset between events. Hundreds of student-athletes from schools across the island have been visiting the hub since the start of the championships, for light meals, refreshments, and a range of wellness services designed to support their performance and recovery.
The hub features on-site nutritionists, hydration stations, body composition assessments, physiotherapy and recovery zones, and even a fun zone to help athletes unwind. Guided by the principle of holistic care, the initiative reflects GraceKennedy’s ongoing commitment to student-athlete development – both on and off the track.
“This is one of our favourite activations at Champs,” said Michaela Francis, head of marketing, Grace Foods and Services. “The Grace Wellness Hub is all about creating a safe and supportive space where athletes feel cared for – physically, mentally, and emotionally – while they give their all on the field. It’s a reminder that their well-being matters just as much as their performance, and we’re proud to be part of the journey that helps them show up as their best selves.”
Adding an extra layer of inspiration, GraceKennedy brand ambassadors and Olympians Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Hansle Parchment made special appearances offering words of encouragement and interacting with the young athletes in the space.
In total, GraceKennedy has committed $185 million to the 2025 ISSA Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships – its 18th consecutive year as title sponsor. This includes $104m in direct cash support, with an additional $81m contributed through its Grace Foods, Western Union, and First Global subsidiaries.
