Back 2 Da Future Music Ltd. is collaborating with The Royalty Network Inc. for the 2025 Grammy Certificate Ceremony in Kingston. The event is a landmark celebration honouring unsung producers, musicians, and songwriters whose contributions have shaped reggae and dancehall’s Grammy legacy.
The Royalty Network Inc., one of the leading independent music publishers in the United States, joins as publishing collaborator, extending its longstanding support of the global reggae community . The red-carpet ceremony takes place on Saturday, September 13, at the Audi Showroom in New Kingston.
With a catalogue of more than 700,000 copyrights, The Royalty Network has long been a guardian of musical excellence and a trusted steward of rights for top-tier reggae creators. Their involvement in this year’s ceremony highlights their deep commitment to reggae’s cultural and economic growth and the proper recognition of the talent behind the music.
Following the 2024 inaugural ceremony, the 2025 staging uniquely celebrates Jamaica’s creative legacy, featuring red carpet glamour, media coverage, and a global livestream. The event aims to recognise the architects of reggae’s international success and finally give them their flowers.
Among the Grammy Certificate recipients represented by The Royalty Network are influential contributors such as Philip ‘Fatis’Burrell, the late Xterminator label founder whose productions helped define the roots revival movement; Brian & Tony Gold, reggae’s harmonic power duo and session stalwarts; Christopher Birch, noted for his genre-blending productions and musical direction; and Tony Rebel, cultural reggae icon and pioneer of Rebel Salute.
Also on the list of recipients are Computer Paul, veteran producer and keyboardist with decades of global credits; T.O.K, one of dancehall’s most successful vocal groups.; Paul ‘Wrong Move’ Crossdale, session keyboardist and Grammy-certified contributor to classic albums; and Robert Livingston, renowned artiste manager and pivotal studio architect behind multiple Grammy projects.
