Grammy First Round Voting Begins Next Month

The Grammy Awards process for 2027 will officially get underway next month, with first round voting scheduled to begin on October 12 and run through October 26.

There is significant interest in the Dancehall and Reggae categories, as several high-profile Jamaican artists, including Vybz Kartel, Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Masicka, Alkaline and Protoje, released albums during the Grammy eligibility period.

Nominees for the 2027 Grammy Awards will be announced on November 16, ahead of the ceremony, which is scheduled for February 7, 2027.
