Grenada and Montserrat are now the only Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member states that Haitian nationals can visit without needing a visa, according to the latest global passport rankings published by British consulting firm Henley & Partners.

The firm’s 2025 report, which covers 227 destinations and is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), highlights the limited travel freedom of Haitian passport holders, who can now access just 15 countries visa-free—five fewer than in 2024.

No other CARICOM country appears on the updated list of visa-exempt destinations for Haitians.

In total, the Haitian passport allows visa-free entry into 15 countries and visa-on-arrival access to 28 more, bringing the total number of visa-friendly destinations to 43. All other destinations require a visa in advance.

“The list of visa-free destinations for Haitian passport holders may change from time to time depending on visa agreements between countries. It is advisable to check any additional requirements or temporary restrictions in your destination country based on your nationality before traveling,” the firm said in a statement.

Henley & Partners also ranked the Caribbean’s strongest passports, with Barbados topping the regional list—granting its holders visa-free access to 163 countries and placing 20th globally. The Bahamas followed with 159 countries (21st globally), and St. Vincent and the Grenadines came in third with access to 156 countries (24th globally).
