Ground Broken for New Black Water Primary School

Residents of the Black Water area of Trial Farm Village are expected to benefit from improved access to education following the official groundbreaking for a new pre-primary and primary school. The project is being undertaken by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology in partnership with the Caribbean Development Bank and is intended to address the growing demand for early childhood and primary education within the community. Once completed, the school will serve children from Black Water and surrounding villages, reducing travel distances while providing access to modern educational facilities.  Government officials say the initiative forms part of a broader effort to expand educational opportunities and improve school infrastructure across Belize. They note that the new campus is expected to provide a safer and more conducive learning environment while supporting improved educational outcomes for students in the area. The Black Water project is one of several education infrastructure initiatives currently being implemented through the Government’s partnership with the Caribbean Development Bank.
