The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, has been officially named a Guinness World Records ICON.

He joins a select group of individuals whose world record achievements have transcended their field and inspired people across the globe.

With his electrifying performances and boundless charisma, Usain Bolt didn’t just break records, he redefined what we thought was humanly possible.

His most iconic achievements, which still stand today, include, fastest 100 metres 9.58 seconds, set at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Berlin and fastest 200 metres 19.19 seconds, also at the 2009 World Championships.

From Olympic gold medals to unforgettable world record moments, Bolt has become a symbol of sporting greatness and global inspiration.

In addition to these legendary feats, Usain Bolt has earned 15 Guinness World Records titles that reflect both his sporting prowess and his powerful connection with fans worldwide.

These are, youngest male junior world champion – 15 years 332 days – at the 2002 World Junior Championships, fastest 4-by-100 metres relay 36.84 seconds, at the 2012 London Olympics, and most IAAF World Athlete of the Year awards – six times – between 2008 and 2016.

Usain was presented his ICON certificate on a visit to the UK.
