Gunman Kills Young Camalote Man Inside His Home

A young man met a violent death within the confines of his home on Friday night when a gunman targeted his bungalow home.  Travis Swift was a 21-year-old resident of Camalote Village, Cayo District, who was not known to have a troubled past.  As a matter of fact, he was a part of a close-knit family that is now left to mourn his death.  Just after eight o’clock on Friday night, Swift made a quick errand to a nearby shop, returned home and shortly after, was killed.  Our Belmopan correspondent, LJay Wade was on the scene and filed the following report.
