Guyana launches Cricket in the Streets initiative

A nationwide programme called ‘Cricket in the Streets’ has been launched to identify young cricket talent in communities across Guyana and create pathways for their development.
The initiative was officially launched on Friday by President Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, and is a collaborative effort between government, E-Networks and the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) and forms part of the activities for Guyana’s 60th Independence Diamond Jubilee anniversary.
