Guyana open to hosting 2027 Over-40s World Cup

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC): President of Guyana Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali has vowed to continue supporting the country’s push to host major sporting events, insisting that they help boost its reputation. Speaking on Friday ahead of the start of the second edition of the International Masters Cricket Over-40s World Cup on Saturday, Ali revealed that the government was willing to assist in any way possible to stage the 2027 edition in Guyana once again.
