Coach of Jamaica’s senior men’s football team, Heimir Hallgrimsson, was not impressed with the performance of his team despite their 1-nil win over the Dominican Republic in the CONCACAF group “E” World Cup qualifier at the National stadium, on Thursday.
Shamar Nicholson scored the lone goal in the 17th minute, putting the finishing touch on a counterattack following a Dominican Republic corner .
Renaldo Cephas led the breakaway and provided the assist.
Hallgrimsson says his strikers needed to be more clinical in front of goal.
He says the Dominican republic did nothing surprising.

The National team departed the island at 1:30 Friday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s game against Dominica.
