Oshae Haye and Jodi Munn-Barrow copped the top spots at the recent Constant Spring Golf Classic which was held at the Constant Spring Golf Course.
Haye competed in the World Amateur golf ranking, WAGR, section where the golfers complete three rounds or 54 holes in two days.
The golfers who compete in that section stand to gain WAGR points which allow them to play in tournaments across the region and the world.
Haye was the only golfer to post an under par score which he did in the third round.
He posted two under par 68 and five over par 75 each in of the first two rounds for a total score of eight over par 218.
His scorecard showed one birdie each in the first two rounds but had a very good third round which included four birdies and bogeys.
He was three under par after 14 holes but bogeyed the next hole to close the round at two under par 68.
William Knibbs who has not played in a local tournament for a couple of years was just one stroke behind Haye in second place after ending the Classic on 219.
Munn-Barrow, president of the Jamaica Golf Association and perennial winner of local golf tournaments was again in the winners circle in the 0-12 section. She scored eight over par 78 and three over par 73 for a total score of 13 over par 153 and carry the banner for the ladies.
