Captain of the West Indies women, Hayley Matthews hit a half century to helped the Mumbai Indians to a 47 runs win over the Gujarat Giants in the eliminator of the Tata Women’s T20 Premier League, today.
The victory ensure Mumbai will meet Delhi Capitals in the final, on Saturday.
Matthews’ 77 came off 50-balls and includes 10-fours and 3-sixes in Mumbai’s 213 for 4.
Nat Sciver-Brunt made 77 and captain Harmanpreet Kaur 36.
Danielle Gibson picked up 2-wickets.
In reply, the Giants were bowled out for 166.
Gibson top scored with 34.
Matthews bagged 3 for 31 and Amelia Kerr picked up 2.
