Herbert Morrison Technical’s Suraj Guwalani will be looking to sweep the 13-to-14 Age group 50 and 100 metre breaststroke events at the 2-day Mayberry High Performance Swim Classic, which starts today.
Guwalani has qualified for the CARIFTA Championships and should have those events on his slate for the regional competition in Trinidad and Tobago, from April 19-22.
If he takes a victory in any of the events it will be a first for his school in the event.
Challenging him for supremacy in those races will be Wolmerian Tyler Robinson of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
He got the better of Suraj at Age group championships in those races.
