Hibbert through to triple jump final, Scott misses out

Jamaica's Jaydon Hibbert booked his spot in the final of the men's triple jump at the Paris Olympics after achieving a qualifying best mark of 16.99m.

Teammate Jordan Scott fell short of a final spot as he could only muster a best mark of 16.36m
