Holmwood Technical High School’s Under-19 netball team continued their lustrous 2025 season by winning the World Schools Netball Cup at Loughborough University in England, last month.
The Manchester based school added the international silverware to their trophy cabinet after beating Solihull of England 19-18.
Holmwood’s Goal Attack, Jada Ricketts believes poor marking from her team made the came closer that it should have been.
Holmwood is the first Jamaican team to compete in the tournament.

South Africa’s Redhill School won the Under-17 Championship, while Solihull won the Under-15 title.
The Under-13 title went to the UAE’s Dubai College.
