“She knows how to get things done!”
That’s how JLP leader, Dr. Andrew Holness, has described his party’s candidate in North East Manchester, Ambassador Audrey Marks.
Dr. Holness was speaking at a JLP meeting in Devon, Manchester, on Tuesday.
Ambassador Marks is set to enter the political arena for the first time in the September 3 general election.
She is set to square off against PNP caretaker Valenton Wint.
North East Manchester has been a JLP stronghold, as outgoing MP, Audley Shaw, has held the seat since 1993.
Dr. Holness says Ambassador Marks will play a key role in the government if his administration secures a third term.
