Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness says his government does not provide benefits based on political affiliation.

He made the comment at Thursday’s groundbreaking ceremony for the Haven Housing Development along Hanover Street in Central Kingston.

The housing development falls under the New Social Housing Programme, NSHP.

It’s expected to be completed in August next year, with accommodation for 83 residents.

Twenty-one units, including six 2-bedroom-units and 11 three-bedroom-units, will be built.

The project costs about $190 million.

Dr. Holness, who is also the Housing Minister, says the government is being strategic in how it develops residential spaces.
