Prime Minister and JLP Leader, Dr. Andrew Holness says his government is on track to deliver 70,000 houses for the Jamaican people.
He made the comment while addressing party faithful at a gospel concert in Old Harbour, St. Catherine, on Sunday.
The event was hosted by MP for South West St. Catherine, Everald Warmington.

Dr. Andrew Holness told Labourites gathered in Old Harbour that his administration is on track to deliver in the area of housing.
The Prime Minister, who is also the Housing Minister, says the next phase of his government’s housing agenda is to deliver another 60,000 homes in the next term.
According to him, up to 15-thousand of these home will be in St. Catherine.
Access to affordable housing has been a key pillar of the JLP’s progressive agenda.
The government has been heavily criticised by the Opposition PNP over the number of homes delivered since the JLP has been in office.
As part of its housing plans, the PNP says if it’s elected to form the next government, it would build 50,000 housing solutions on government lands, excluding the cost of land.
The PNP has also pledged to give young, first-time home buyers a subsidy of $50,000 as a down payment.
And just last week, while addressing comrades in Portland, PNP leader, Mark Golding, proposed that swamp land be dumped to accommodate 5-hundred houses.
Dr. Holness dismissed his proposal.
