Homer nets second hat-trick in Tyro football

Edmund Homer scored his second hat-trick of the season to lead Organs to a 3-0 dismantling of Kings of Kings in the Over-45 Division of the Tyro Sports Club Open and Over-45 Division Seven-A-Side Football League on Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, at the Ato Boldon Ground, Lower Santa Cruz, Temptations blanked Quarry Road 2-0 with Akyl Griffith scoring both goals.

A day later, Peace and Love Reloaded got two goals each from Marvin Oliver and Keyon Edwards in a come-from-behind 4-3 defeat of Tornadoes Reloaded, who got their items from Nigel Britto, Romano Rampersad, and Marvin Britto.

In the opener on Wednesday, Sherwin Ambris banged in a brace, and Keevon Williams and Lawrence Parris were the others for Liverpool to crush Fire 45 4-0.

The tournament is sponsored by Uncle Beddoes Supermarket and Hardware and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
