Honduras alerts Belize in search for missing sailor

Authorities in Honduras have issued a notice to Belize to be on the lookout for a missing Honduran national Nigel Miller. Miller went out to sea more than 36 hours ago, sailing from Utila to Roatán, and has not returned.  Miller’s vessel reportedly began taking on water, and bad weather conditions may have contributed to his disappearance. According to the alert, authorities and rescue teams in Honduras have resumed air and sea search operations for the young man.  According to the Belize Coast Guard, they will be on high alert in the coming days as it would take some time for Miller to arrive in Belize’s waters.
