Hope Optimistic Ahead of WI Series Opener Against Pakistan

Two-time world champions West Indies will face Pakistan at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill Florida in game one of their three-match T20 International series on Thursday starting at 6 pm Jamaica time.

The Windies, who are sixth in the World T20 rankings, are still smarting from their 5-0 series loss to Australia, which ended this week.

Captain Shai Hope admits it’s a quick turnaround to be facing another tough opponents, but he thinks the team will perform better and could even win the series.

Hope says despite the defeat to the Aussies, the team is a good one and they’ll keep pushing until they get it right.
