The PNP’s Hubert ‘Ryan’ Williams says no distraction will derail him from his path to becoming the next Member of Parliament for Western St. Thomas.
Speaking to comrades at a party meeting in the parish over the weekend, Williams declared that he remains undaunted by the controversies surrounding him.
Hubert ‘Ryan’ Williams, PNP caretaker for West Thomas.
Williams, who’s also the councillor for the White Horses division in the constituency, has been making headlines in recent weeks.
He was charged with assault and obstruction earlier this month, following an alleged altercation with the police in Danvers Pen, in the parish.
And just a few days ago, Williams was accused of squatting on government-owned land and encouraging others to do the same.
Neither Williams nor the PNP has publicly addressed the issues.
