Humble Lion president optimistic despite slow start

Humble Lion’s start to the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) season is far from what club president Christopher Jackson may have anticipated, following a 3-0 defeat to Tivoli Gardens on the opening day and a 5-0 loss to Waterhouse on Monday. Nevertheless, the young executive remains confident that the club will come good this season because of a new approach to its operations. A former player and native of the community, Jackson was called on to oversee the club’s operations after the team was relegated from the JPL in the 2024-25 season.
