Humble Lion joined Vere United as the two teams relegated from the Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League following the final day of regular season action on Sunday.
The Clarendon-based team needed a victory over league leaders Mount Pleasant at home to remain alive, but they crashed to a 4-0 defeat.
Chavaughn Walsh scored a brace for Mount Pleasant who ended with 93 points, while Humble Lion closed with 33 points and 13th in the standings.
Meanwhile, Tivoli Gardens claimed the sixth and final playoff spot after beating Montego Bay United 2-1 at the Edward Seaga Complex.
Nickalai Fuller and Lennox Russell got the goals for Tivoli who ended on 58 points, the same as Waterhouse who beat Dunbeholden 2-0. Tivoli however advanced with a superior goal difference.
The third piece of business that was settled on the day was Arnett Gardens getting the second automatic semi-final spot after spanking Harbour View 5-1 with five different scorers.
Arnett ended on 76 points, one ahead of third place Montego Bay United.
The current points standing may or may not change, as the authorities are yet to rule on a case of alleged breach by Mount Pleasant Academy who stand accused of using ineligible players in at least six games.
