International Biscuits Limited, IBL, has announced a recall of a batch of its Butterkist Vanilla Sandwich Cookies.
This after identifying that some products did not meet the company’s quality standards.
The recall affects 2-hundred-and-40 cases of the 55 gram Butterkist Vanilla Sandwich Cookies.
The products bear a Best Before date of January 10, 2026.
The affected items were manufactured between 7am and 8:44am.
They were distributed between August 4 and 21, 2025.
IBL says there have been no reports of illness or issues linked to the cookies.
But as a precaution, IBL has suspended distribution and instructed that all existing stock from the affected lot be quarantined and withheld from sale.
Customers who purchased the cookies during the stated period are asked to return them to the supplier for either a refund or an exchange.
The company says it is investigating the matter.
