Shares in technology company iCreate Limited cannot be traded at this time.

This as the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) has taken the decision to immediately suspend trading in the company pending the submission of its 2022 audited financial statements.

The company has advised that it expects to publish its audited financial statements no later than September 30.

The suspension comes on the heels of the sudden resignation of founder and CEO, Tyrone Wilson, late last Thursday.

With the departure of Wilson, Ivan Carter has stepped in as Interim Chairman of the Board of Directors; while Arlene Martin will serve as Interim President & CEO.

This is Martin’s second go in the leadership of iCreate.

She formerly acted as Chairperson with oversight of the implementation of the necessary policies for guiding the operations of iCreate through the COVID-19 pandemic.
