Immaculate Takes Lead at ASAJ Swim Meet

At sports time defending girls champions Immaculate conception were leading the standings with 211 points at the ASAJ High Schools and Tertiary swim meet now under way at the stadium pool.

The are followed by St. Andrew High 110, with Campion College third on 107.

On the boys side, Wolmer’s lead with 179 points with last year’s winners Campion second with 146-and-a-half and Kingston College third with 105-and-a-half.

Meanwhile, Kai Lawson Wolmer’s broke under-12 girls 50-metres backstroke meet record winning in 33.19 second, erasing the old mark of 33.43 seconds.

And Leanna Wainwright of Montego Bay High won the 17-and over 50-metres backstroke in a record 30.89 seconds, bettering the previous mark of 30.91 seconds.
