India beat Australia by four wickets in Dubai to book a place in the ICC Champions Trophy final.
India set 265 to win, achieved victory at 267 for 6 in 48.1 overs.
Veteran Virat Kohli led the victory charge with 84 off 98 balls spiced with five fours. Shreyas Iyer, 45, KL Rahul, 42 not out, and Hardick Pandaya, 28, also contributed well to the chase as Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa bagged two wickets apiece.
Australia had earlier been dismissed for 264 in 49.3 overs thanks to captain Steve Smith, 73, Alex Carey, who was run out for 61, and Travis Head, 39, at the top of the order.
Mohammed Shami, 3 for 34, Ravindra Jadeja, 2 for 40, and Varun Chakravarthy, 2 for 49, took most wickets for India who will now await the outcome of Wednesday’s second semi-final between South Afrcia and New Zealand.
The Champions Trophy Final is set for Sunday.
